About this event
Glide-X is an aerodynamics-focused glider competition where participants design and build a non-RC, passively stable glider to compete under standardized launch conditions. The event challenges teams to apply aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft stability principles to optimize their designs for maximum flight time and distance while maintaining a straight and stable flight path. With an optional common mechanical launcher ensuring to help with launches, the competition places emphasis on design efficiency, aerodynamic performance, stability, and innovation.
